CES 2026 Field Notes | AI Moves Into Applications; Robotics Takes Center Stage

In January 2026, the global technology industry returned to Las Vegas. On the opening day of CES 2026, SVCC walked the main halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Venues were clearly zoned by theme, making it easier to navigate concentrated technology tracks.

The most visible shift: AI has moved from concept display into applications. Across smart hardware, system solutions, and end devices, AI was less often sold as a standalone feature and more often embedded into products — with emphasis on stability and practical value in real scenarios.

Robotics also appeared across multiple areas and drew strong attention. Compared with earlier concept-heavy showcases, this year’s systems stressed interaction, continuous operation, and concrete use cases — signs the industry is moving toward commercial validation.

SVCC will continue sharing on-the-ground observations from CES to help clients read technology trends with cross-border business relevance.
